My name is Van Do. I have been living and working in Dalat city, Lam Dong province, Vietnam. At the moment, I have been running a hostel named Mooka’s home for 3 years so I have gathered many experiences about tourism. I have worked hard in selecting my business partners for bus lines, tours, food, ect because I would like to provide my customers the best services as I can. The customers’ high reviews on the two websites and motivates me a lot.

During my time serving a huge number of customers from many countries all over the world, I find out that foreigners virtually have barriers in finding reliable supporters for bus, tours, etc in Dalat. Furthermore, by my knowledge and experience in working with many tour and bus companies as well as being a local, I would like to provide trustful information sources to foreigners who are on their way to Dalat.

I and my team are proud that we supply you high quality services such as bus, tour, motorbike renting or anything you want to know. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

What our Customers Say
  • review rating 5  One of the best experiences ever had at a Hostel. Must stay here if you are even in Da Lat. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great location with massive rooms and super clean. On top of everything else, they have a great breakfast menu to select from, which is a huge bonus. Will be back.

review rating 5  We loved our time there, stayed 4 nights at the hostel ! The rooms are big and you get some privacy with the curtains. 1 free beer per night and they also organise all you can eat bbq that are great! It is not a party hostel but it is very chilled. The owner is super nice. Super nice free pancakes for breakfast! I will recommend this place to my friends. The only thing that we were disappointed about is that nothing was organised on the day of christmas (no dinner nor small party) as it is the most important day of the year for us , it was a bit sad.

review rating 5  The nicest hostel I stayed at so far! The hostel staff is so lovely and friendly, the young lady always calls you by your name when she's talking to you. Also, the breakfast was the best I've had so far! Many western options! The rooms are very spacious, everyone's got their own locker and power socket, although a few arent working. Told the staff and they immediately offered me another bed. They also have an awesome rooftop BBQ every once in a while. Stay there!!! You won't regret it!

review rating 5  Mooka’s was a great place to stay. Named after the owners adorable little son, the place really felt intimate and familiar, and their little dog, Suki, was also good fun to mess around with. The staff was super helpful and renting scooters straight from the hostel was super quick and easy, making it real practical to explore the valleys of Da Lat. The barbecue that the hostel organizes every second day is well worth it! Amazing food on the roof top overlooking the city. We are very thankful for our time spent here, and the owner went way out of her way to cook us simple rice and veggies to help us overcome some stomach turbulences. Highly recommended.

review rating 5  Best hostel I‘ve been so far. The owner is so much lovely, warmly and caring and you really feel like home. She could help us with every issue we had very good at any time. The rooms are new and clean, the food is good and you get one free beer per night as well 😉 I can recommend the hostel with the best conscience, we hat a lot of fun and it made our holidays in Dalat a pleasure.

review rating 5  Best. Hostel. Ever. We've been there for 3 days and it was a delight from the first to the last second. The owner and all of thr staff are so friendly and helpful (even for vietnamese standards!). At one night, she called her way through a lot of agencies so we could have our last minute booking of a day trip the next day. You really know that the Hostel is here Baby and that she loves her job by heart. The double room we booked was really clean and big (even bigger than all of our hotels in Vietnam) with a private bath. Every second night there is a family, BBQ which she organized so you know other guests. It feels more like a Homestay or a very big family. It was one of (if not THE) best stay we had. Will give her 10 Stars if that would be possible!

  • review rating 5  Amazing hostel to stay at if you visiting Dalat city. You will be taken care of, if you have any questions - everyone is happy to help you ! Great breakfast, very easy to plan guided trips or arrange coaches to other cities. Scooter rent, pool table, darts and rooftop with occasional BBQ are all great features. Rooms are tidy, dorms have curtains and lockers. The host is the greatest and kids are super cute. I would definitely recommend and I am definitely coming back in the future

review rating 5  Very sweet family run hostel. Really helpful staff, and such a lovely woman (whose name I can't recall) running it. Keep your eye out for Jackie, the dog, a total sweetheart.

review rating 5  What a great place to stay. We got there quite early in the morning as our bus driver flew from Ho Chi Minh to Da Lat (arrived 3 hours earlier!!!) but we were still able to check into our room! We had a private room which was spacious and nice, bathroom was nice. The mattress was a bit firm, but it was okay. The vibe of the place is great! The staff are so friendly and nice. Breakfast was amazing and there are so many options. It’s a bit out of town but there is no reason to stay close to town anyway. They do scooter hire which is a must to see Da Lat.
